Prior to joining the Shamba Centre, Anna honed her environmental policy and communications expertise in Brussels. She worked across various EU institutions, including the European Committee of the Regions, where she focused on environmental protection from a political, regional and local perspective, and the European Commission, where she contributed to the implementation of a Global Alliance for Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency. 

Anna also has experience in sustainability and corporate social responsibility from her work with an environmental consultancy part of Accenture. There, she was committed to upholding environmental and human rights standards. 

Anna holds two Master's degrees, one in European integration and the other in international cooperation, protection of human rights and ethno-cultural heritage.
